Rewind: Swimming Lessons

I finally signed Greg up for swimming lessons for the first time in January 2013. I just love the YMCA; I can't remember how much it cost, but it was next to nothing. The sessions were 3 times a week for 4 weeks. He did 3 sessions and passed the "Pike" class the final session. He loved it! He especially liked swimming with his "power pack" (floatation device with a piece of foam on front and back).

Brighton got so excited about Greg taking swimming lessons that I signed him up for a mom and me class the second session. It was really fun! Brighton's favorite thing was jumping in. What made it even more fun was Lyndsey Skanchy and James signed up for the same class. We had a great time. The third session, I signed Brighton up for the toddler class. He had a really hard time with it, but I'm sure he would have really caught on if we would have been able to keep doing more sessions. I didn't get any pictures of Brighton. I was very close to my due date and VERY uncomfortable by that point, so it was pretty amazing that I even got him to the swimming pool for every lesson. I had Evan when they had a week left, so Lynne took them to the remainder of the lessons.

The little boy on the far right was in Greg's class all three sessions, so it was kind of fun to talk with and get to know his nanny. She was really sweet.

With his teacher Miss Darlene. His teacher the other sessions was Miss Sammi.

Totally freaked out in the little boat. Check out that death grip.
