Feet

At the risk of sounding like a huge complainer, I have had some swelling issues since about the 18th week of my pregnancy (I can't complain about anything else). The last few weeks, my hands and feet have been swelling a lot. Don't worry...my blood pressure is fine. It's gotten to where I can't really wear any shoes except for flip flops and Crocs. The good thing is my feet don't hurt at all, they just swell. They go down to nearly normal size each night while I sleep, then swell back up within an hour of getting out of bed. If you are totally disgusted by feet, just leave the blog now because you will not like what is coming. My feet are quite funny to look at. I know this is so weird that I'm posting this, but oh well. :)

I painted my toenails (that was quite the task) in the hopes that it would make my feet look better. The jury is still out on that one. :) I've always had slightly large ankles but not quite this large.

That's where my ankle bone should be seen. This one looks like it could be the foot of the marshmallow man from Ghostbusters.

Wow... Those are impressive cankles...I thought mine were bad and they just started yesterday... Soon you will be rid of it!! Just 1 more month!! You're almost there! (and I'm totally jealous!)

I feel your pain! I think mine were even worse than that when I was pregnant with Dallin. I hear it's genetic, so it must be Mom's fault:) The good news is you will have ankles again in about a month, but don't expect it to happen as soon the minute the baby is born. It took me a few days to "unswell." The bad news is that my feet never went back to the size they were pre-pregnancy. I was and 8 1/2 or 9, depending on the shoe. Now, I'm a solid 9. That may not be what you want to hear right now, but hopefully it will be less traumatic if you know it's coming!

Oh, that was one of the WORST parts about the last few weeks for me... mine were terriby swollen too. I would put my finger into my feet and the impression would stay there for a long time. Scary. I got even worse right after me c-section but after a few days it was all gone. But I definitely feel yout pain!!! Your toes look cute painted though!!!
